AboutThe Role
Turtle is seeking a talented professional in the Credit Associate role in Clark, NJ. This is a full‑time position, 5 days per week, Monday‑Friday 8am – 5pm with an hour unpaid lunch. Four days in office/one day remote. In this role you will perform clerical and administrative duties related to day‑to‑day activities of the credit & collections department. Must be competent in Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills, knowledge of basic accounting, and have great phone etiquette.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Pull PODs
- Send invoices/statement copies to sales or customers
- Portal billings
- Process credit applications and prepare credit files for review/approval (Pulling D&Bs and references)
- Enter adjustment credits if requested
- Process credit card payments
- Perform other related duties as required or directed
- High School Diploma
- Accounts Receivable Experience required
- Customer Service Experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Organized and excellent time management skills
- Positive attitude and problem‑solving ability
- Construction, Distribution, or building material knowledge is a plus
