We are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Physician to join our fast-paced medical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care to patients with non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to multitask, and excellent bedside manner in a high-volume setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses and injuries in patients of all ages.
• Perform minor medical procedures such as suturing, abscess drainage, splinting, and foreign body removal.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and lab work.
• Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with medical assistants, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventive health measures.
• Recognize and stabilize patients requiring higher-level care before transferring them to an emergency department.
• Maintain compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Licensure: Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine. Must have an active and unrestricted medical license in [Insert State].
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• Experience: Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred.

• Comfortable treating pediatric and adult patients.
