Base pay range: $89,100.00/yr - $/yr

As part of a collaborative engineering team, you’ll play a lead role in advancing projects from conceptual through final design. You’ll contribute to the successful delivery of engineering projects by helping manage schedules and ensuring technical quality in alignment with client expectations, scope, budget, and timelines. You’ll work on energy transition-related projects, including renewable energy initiatives and grid infrastructure, while collaborating with clients and sub-consultants to deliver design solutions.

• Lead and advance projects from conceptual through final design within a multidisciplinary team.
• Prepare general civil plans, grading and access road layouts, drainage and stormwater management plans, utility plans, erosion and sediment control plans, vehicle access routes, supporting calculations, and quantity takeoffs.
• Coordinate with GIS and CAD professionals to prepare maps, drawings and other details.
• Attend in-person, field, and online meetings with clients to provide project support and engineering guidance to advance design efforts.
• Contribute to proposals and other business development activities through technical input and document preparation.
• Mentor and be mentored; support career development and foster an inclusive culture aligned with Jacobs’ Culture of Caring.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or plans to obtain within six months.
• 5+ years of experience in civil site design for energy clients in the United States, including one or more of the following facility types: electrical transmission, substation, onshore wind, solar, thermal generation, oil & gas.
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D with a focus on site plan layout, geometric design of access roads and driveways, grading, drainage, and coordination with other disciplines.

Preferred locations in the Northeast United States: PA (Philadelphia, Conshohocken), NJ, NY, MA, CT, NH, VT, RI. This is a hybrid role with a minimum requirement of 2 days in-person at a Jacobs office.

The base salary range for this position is $89,100.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
