Your impact as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will be critical to enabling the heart of our clients’ business through state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities.
We’re looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about delivering on challenging engineering tasks. You will be accountable for schedule and technical quality, provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead, and design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities.
Your responsibilities include developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, and documenting and modeling design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Controls
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications
Ideally you’ll also have:
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams
- Passion for buildings and construction
- Experience mentoring Junior professionals or leading small teams
- Experience with Data Center Design
Base pay range: $95,200.00/yr - $/yr.
