• Perform a variety of structural analysis.
• Create computer models for structures.
• Perform calculations for member designs, foundations, and materials take‑offs for estimating.
• Prepare miscellaneous calculations, assist with schedules, and coordinate designs with internal and external teams.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and designers on capital projects, liaising with other design departments and Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Grow technically and professionally while expanding leadership responsibilities within the organization.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8 or more years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software, such as Auto Cad, Revit, Micro Station, and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, Building Codes, and other industry‑relevant design codes and standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, including MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability to travel to various client sites (approximately 10%–20% travel).
• Master of Science in Engineering (desired).
• Experience with industrial metals projects, including casting and rolling operations or similar heavy industrial projects (desired).
• Ability to lead teams to deliver commitments on schedule and on budget while meeting quality and client expectations (desired).
