Color & Artwork Sr. Developer (Packaging)
A freelance position for 12 months with potential to extend, hybrid in Clark, NJ (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Responsibilities Artwork Management- Project Management:
Oversee and manage the lifecycle of various regulatory artwork projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to established guidelines. - Brief Creation:
Develop comprehensive and accurate project briefs for new artwork initiatives, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to gather all necessary information. - System Routing & Approval:
Utilize the artwork management system, TAG, to route artwork for review and approval, tracking project completion progress. - Compliance Assurance:
Ensure all artwork projects meet stringent regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Color Matching:
Manage color matching process of sustainability projects including removal of carbon black, rematching colors in PCR and ensure new BOMs and specs are issued for revised colors. - Stakeholder Communication:
Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams, Marketing, Packaging Development, the Plant and External Agencies. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all assigned projects.
- 2-4 years’ experience in proven package development project/quality experience, preferably in the cosmetics, consumer goods or related field.
- A completed Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or a related engineering/technical discipline.
- Travel to vendors and plants may be required (5-10% of time).
- Proficient PC skills – Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient communication skills (written & verbal), to be able to deal effectively with all levels of our organization and our suppliers.
- Good organizational skills to manage the documentation, materials and information.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
