Our Clark location is part of our Taste Division, producing flavors and ingredients. Our Clark facility is unique in that it has two buildings. The North building has a fruitier smell, and the teams in that building are producing natural flavoring and essential oils. The South building has a savory and garlic smell because the team is producing seasonings for meat, chicken broth, and beef gravy.

Primary
Purpose:
The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through daily cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of variances. This position ensures that all materials, products, and supplies are accurately tracked and recorded to support efficient warehouse operations and minimize inventory discrepancies.
The shift for this position is 1st shift 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities- Perform scheduled cycle counts of raw materials, components, WIP, and finished goods in accordance with established procedures.
- Compare physical counts with ERP system data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Investigate inventory variances alongside Inventory Management, determine root causes, and work with production, shipping, and other teams to correct issues.
- Maintain proper documentation of all cycle counts, adjustments, and investigations.
- Utilize RF Guns for proper inventory and counting practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inventory errors and improve accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining accurate locations and labeling for all materials and inventory storage areas.
- Participate in full physical inventory counts and internal/external inventory audits.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely to move inventory as needed.
- Proper handling of various Allergen, Organic and Sulphite products and equipment according to Allergen Control Procedures and site policy.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow good safety practices as directed by safety teachings.
- Maintain GMP’s and complete functions listed on the sanitation schedule.
- Responsible for conformance to Food Safety and Food Quality Plans as described in the Kerry Clark SQF Systems manual. Must report all deviations to a member of management and QA- and set product aside until further instructed.
- Other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.
- High School or equivalent.
- Must be able to proficiently operate forklifts and other equipment integral to the job functions.
- Experience preferred in inventory control or materials management within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Proficient in ERP or MRP systems.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other standard office software.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
- Capable of reading and writing in English.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be proficient in material handling tools and forklift driving. Must be agile and can bend to lower heights. Must be able to see and distinguish between labels. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk through the warehouse.
Working EnvironmentAmbient and Temperature Controlled factory environment with exposure to flavor and basic product chemicals, raw materials and finished goods.
CompensationThe pay rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.
