Aboutthe role
Our Clark location is part of our Taste Division, producing flavors and ingredients. The Clark facility has two buildings: the North building focuses on natural flavoring and essential oils; the South building produces seasonings for meat, chicken broth, and beef gravy. 160 Terminal Ave, Clark, NJ 07066.
The typical hiring range for this role is $21.41 per hour. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. Kerry offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution.
Filler operator role is a first shift opportunity. Monday to Friday, some Saturdays 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
Key responsibilitiesWarehouse Operative – Primary
Purpose:
Responsible for moving materials efficiently and timely for manufacturing and warehouse operations. Maintain accurate inventory records during movement of materials throughout the facility. Prepare Finished Goods Orders for shipment to customers in line with shipping requirements.
- Supply manufacturing with materials on a demand basis.
- Remove materials from production for storage and for orders.
- Maintain GMPs and complete functions on the sanitation schedule.
- Move and rearrange inventory as instructed for consolidation, organization, and efficiency.
- Move new materials and inventory into proper stock locations.
- Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
- Use RF scanners to move inventory to and from locations throughout the facility.
- Following the instructions on the worksheets for order preparation, properly label, scan, seal, palletize and wrap product so that it meets customer specifications and can be transported safely and without damage.
- Proper handling of allergen products and equipment according to Allergen Control Procedures.
- Conformance to Food Safety and Food Quality Plans as described in the Kerry Clark SQF Systems manual. Report all deviations to a member of management and QA and set product aside until further instructed.
- Other duties assigned by Management.
Minimum Requirements:
High school or equivalent. Knowledge and experience to operate a forklift. Ability to read and write in English. Ability to see, read labels. Ability to perform basic math computations. Basic computer skills. Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and move up to 500 lbs. Must be able to walk throughout the warehouse / plant and sit to operate a forklift.
Working EnvironmentFactory environment with exposure to flavor and basic product chemicals and raw materials. Warehouse and manufacturing environment subject to extreme weather conditions at times.
