Job Summary:
OSM Group is seeking a detail-oriented Project Quality Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality in our projects. The ideal candidate will develop and implement quality plans, conduct inspections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues. This role involves maintaining compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Quality Planning: Develop and implement project-specific quality plans and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
- Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential quality issues and non-compliance.
- Issue Resolution: Support operations to resolve technical issues and implement corrective and preventive actions for products.
- Data Analysis: Detect assignable causes of variation and implement means to reduce or control effects of variation on process or product output.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities and findings.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and coordinate quality and process improvement initiatives to enhance product, processes, and systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to communicate quality standards and resolve issues.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a project-based environment.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in quality management systems and tools. Knowledge of ISO standards and quality assurance methodologies. - Analytical
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess quality issues and implement improvements. - Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Certification: Relevant certifications such as ASQ, ISO 9001, or Six Sigma are a plus.
