Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
• Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate use of the Target App features, including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Handle returns by following prompts and partnering with leaders as needed while following Target policies
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage store supplies as needed
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up orders and related duties with compliance to applicable laws
• Perform other duties based on business needs

• Ability to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology equipment as directed
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Staying focused in a fast-paced environment and completing multiple tasks within time frames

• Accurate checkout operations and support for cash office tasks as needed
• Safe handling and movement of merchandise; lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including Drive-Up and carryout duties
