- Assist in design, development and testing of electronic equipment and instruments
- Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
- Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications
- Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Leverage computer and technology knowledge, including Linux
- Handle business intelligence tasks
- Prepare exhibits
- Work with lighting equipment, systems and controls
- Engage with radar, data communication, radio communication, navigation and communication satellite systems
- Perform testing, repair and troubleshooting on electronic test equipment and industrial electronics
- Contribute to computer design and cable and television system projects
- Support transportation/travel information systems
- College/CEGEP education in a relevant field
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the electrical or electronic manufacturing sector
- Experience working in rural settings and various locations
- Proficiency in PLC programming
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Experience with business intelligence and exhibit preparation
- Familiarity with lighting, radar, data communication, radio communication, navigation, and satellite systems
- Understanding of sonar and electronic testing equipment
- Experience in industrial electronics, computer design, and cable & television systems
- Quick‑paced environment
- Work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking required
- Efficient interpersonal skills; excellent oral communication; team player mindset
- Options:
