Positions Available: 3
Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians for a contract assignment at a major medical facility in Clarksburg, WV. Physicians will provide comprehensive emergency care including evaluation, stabilization, treatment, admissions coordination, and transfers when higher levels of care are required.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and stabilize emergency department patients
- Manage a wide range of medical, traumatic, psychiatric, cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, GI, renal, and musculoskeletal emergencies
- Perform common ED procedures including laceration repair, I&D, fracture/dislocation reduction, airway management, central lines, chest tubes, and procedural sedation
- Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers; review inpatient admissions
- Provide discharge education and document all care in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Participate in quality, safety, and required staff activities
Candidates must provide:
- Active DEA and NPI
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Malpractice/liability insurance
- Health records per facility requirements
- List of procedures performed within the past two years
