Lasting Impressions Child Development Center in Clarksburg, WV is looking for a passionate and dedicated Public Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate Pre-K curriculum aligned with WV public education standards
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for early learners
- Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate developmental records
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities
- Collaborate with assistant teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure program quality
- Implement social-emotional learning strategies to support whole-child development
- Participate in required trainings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
- WV Teaching Certificate or eligibility for Public Pre-K certification required
- Prior experience in a Pre-K, preschool, or early childhood classroom setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
Excellent classroom management and communication skills - Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for working with young children
- Must have a REAL (federal )
