• Evaluate, review, and screen patients’ or residents’ medical charts and physician‑ordered assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function, including administration, scoring, and interpretation of specialized speech tests.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on monitoring speech, practicing new skills, and implementing diet recommendations and safe swallowing techniques.
• Attend and lead interdisciplinary meetings, share clinical findings, and make recommendations to the rehabilitation team; participate in family meetings and education.
• Provide care at multiple locations, responding to the diverse needs of residents.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid or pending State Speech‑Language Pathology license.
