Cybersecurity Analyst

Tygart is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support a DOJ office in Clarksburg, WV. The ideal candidate must possess a current Top-Secret clearance.

• Support ISSOs in the evaluation of delivered software for security and compliance.
• Conduct dynamic, manual, and automated reverse engineering of binary files to identify vulnerabilities or malicious logic.
• Analyze and cross-reference code libraries with industry best practices, including OWASP Top 10.
• Perform:
  • Static/dynamic analysis of known and unknown malicious binaries.
  • Functional and behavioral analysis of source code and scripts.
  • Hardware/firmware analysis, as needed.
• Assist stakeholders in identifying and evaluating technical and operational security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to knowledge transfer and internal briefings.

• Active Top-Secret Security Clearance (required).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Information Security, with a focus on software security analysis and cyber threat assessment.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Associate’s Degree.
• CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent).
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent.
