Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center (NWMRMC) is seeking a CT Technologist (CT Tech) to join our growing Radiology Department. This role is vital in helping provide accurate, timely diagnostic imaging to support patient care and clinical decisions.

The CT Technologist (CT Tech) performs high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders, established protocols, and safety guidelines. This role requires precision, clinical judgment, and a strong focus on patient care and comfort.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered.
• Follow all safety protocols, including ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
• Perform contrast administration under appropriate supervision and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure proper documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and imaging systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and providers to ensure image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and assist with quality assurance procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Licensure/Certification: Must hold a valid Mississippi Radiologic Technologist license. Current ARR(R) certification required; ARRT(CT) certification preferred. BLS certification required.

Experience: At least 1 year of radiology or CT experience preferred. New graduates with strong clinical rotation experience are welcome to apply!
