About Us

The Donovan's Venom, INC. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high‑quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to expand our reach continually and enrich the lives of those we serve.

The Donovan’s Venom, INC. is partnering with the DeKalb County Government – Human Services Department for DeKalb County Human Services Day, a free community event designed to connect residents with vital social services, nonprofit organizations, and community resources.

Saturday, September 20, 2025 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Clarkston Community Center – Angora Hall, 3701 College Avenue, Clarkston, GA 30021

• Assist with event setup and breakdown
• Greet and guide community attendees
• Support vendors, nonprofits, and social service agencies during the event
• Help manage registration and check‑in tables
• Provide general event support and problem‑solving throughout the day
• Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible environment for all attendees

• Experience volunteering at community events (preferred, not required)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Comfort interacting with diverse populations and community members
• Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed

• Make a direct impact by supporting local residents in accessing vital resources
• Build connections with nonprofit organizations and social service providers
• Contribute to a community‑focused event that fosters equity, inclusivity, and support
• Earn volunteer hours and gain hands‑on experience in event and community engagement
