The Medical Assistant II (MA II) collaborates under a licensed practitioner’s delegation to support patient care and performs all duties of an MA I, demonstrating full competence in clinical tasks at their assigned location.
Responsibilities- obtain vital signs
- administering injections
- medication administration
- adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations.
- graduation from an accredited program with hands-on clinical training
- completion of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship
- military medical training
- at least one year of relevant work experience.
- Certification as a Washington Medical Assistant and BLS certification within 30 days are mandatory.
- Minimum healthcare and medical assistant experience of six months is expected.
