Position Overview
:

As part of the talented Thunder Jet This position measures and installs the glass in all boat models. This position has the responsibility of ensuring that the window product fits correctly and works efficiently of customers. Must have high levels organizational skills and time management.

Essential Functions:

• Measure and assemble the frame and glass to be installed in the boats
• Assemble weather stripping to the window and door areas.
• Assist productions workers by supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

• Operate necessary tools and equipment in boat production process or assist others operating tools and equipment
• Compliance to safety policies and procedures is required, as well as identifying risks and hazards prior to job completion
• Ability in basic math, reading and be able to read a tape measure
• Knowledge of drills, drivers, and saws.
• Good safety awareness, attitude, and attendance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three months experience in a manufacturing setting preferred, but willing to train
• Self-starter and a team player.

Working Conditions:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit, and use arms, hands, and fingers.
• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level is moderate to high in the manufacturing setting.

The anticipated pay range for this position is grade 3 $ 20.95-$21.75 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
