Asphalt Plant Loader Operator - Lewiston​/Clarkston

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Loader Operator at our Central Idaho Asphalt Plant in Lewiston, !

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

* Communicate and promote safety compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards

* Ability to run mixing operations on the plant to ensure material quality and compliance with specification

* Ensure consistent production to meet daily orders

* Offloading hot asphalt oil

* Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach include scaling, ticketing and assist in asphalt orders

* Responsible for completing daily checklist, journal, and reports

* Continuously communicating with plant operators, truckers, quality control and dispatch

* Problem solving skills to help identify and resolve issues that arise

* Maintain aggregate stockpiles and liquid levels

* Maintain good attendance and safety record and set an example for others to follow

* Job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking

* Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

* Proven work history of two (2) years or more experience in asphalt plant operation

* A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

* Valid driver's license

* Must be able to work day shifts and night shifts. Shifts may vary according to project demands

* Must be able to work in all weather conditions

* Must be willing to travel if job requires

* Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
