Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Med/Surg/PCU night shift position requiring an active WA or compact RN license and at least 3 years of experience.

• Active WA or compact RN license
• Minimum 3 years of recent nursing experience required
• Experience across Med Surg, PCU, and Telemetry areas required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital setting
• Combined Med Surg/PCU unit with telemetry capability
• Night shift schedule
• Must be willing to flex between Med Surg, PCU, and Telemetry departments as needed
• Provide patient and family education using appropriate teaching methods
• Implement patient safety measures including fall precautions and proper restraint use per policy
• Demonstrate safe operation and troubleshooting of PCU, Telemetry, and Med Surg equipment
• Follow infection control and standard precaution protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, interventions, and physician orders
• Communicate effectively during shift report and with other departments
• Report critical lab values to physicians per policy
• Maintain and restock emergency carts and unit supplies
• Minimal RTO availability during the upcoming holiday season
