RN IPC Clinic - Per Diem

This position is Per Diem and will provide-needed coverage for various shifts.

Ensures that quality nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the Washington State Nurse Practice Act, Tri
- State Hospital and departmental nursing standards. Utilizing the nursing process, functions primarily in direct patient care and coordinating that care.

• Use skills in nursing assessment to include peri-operative education and care.
• Recognizing post anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Promotes positive teamwork with departmental staff, surgeons, physicians, anesthesia, and all departmental personnel.
• Participates in maintaining a safe patient care environment. Effective leadership skills and preceptor participation.

• Associate’s degree or Bachelors in healthcare administration or equivalent college coursework preferred.

• Current Washington State or Multi-State RN license
• Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period.

• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience, required.
• Clinic experience, preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
