American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a SSSU/PACU position requiring strong perioperative skills and shared on-call rotation.
Requirements- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Strong skills required in Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion
- Work across Outpatient Services including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, and Pre-operative Clinic
- Supports conscious sedation for special procedures throughout the hospital
- Schedule consists of 4 10-hour day shifts with a variable schedule
- Shared on-call rotation required for PACU coverage
- Floating required to all areas within Outpatient Services
- Provide perioperative education and nursing care, including assessment for post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
- Responsible for recognizing and responding to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
