SIMS is hiring a CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our growing team in Clarksville. In this hands-on role, you’ll program, set up, and operate multi-axis mills, lathes, and Swiss machines while leading a small team of skilled machinists.

You’ll work with Haas, Doosan, and Fanuc-controlled equipment
, using Mastercam to create programs for complex, high-precision parts.

• Program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC mills and lathes
• Create and optimize Mastercam programs for both prototype and production runs
• Supervise and train setup personnel and operators
• Interpret blueprints, models, and GD&T requirements with precision
• Troubleshoot setups, tooling, and machining issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area

• Haas, Doosan, Fanuc-based CNC machines
• Twin Spindle / Twin Turret lathes
• Horizontal Machining Centers
• Swiss CNC machines –
  STAR or CITIZEN preferred
• Mastercam (required), experience with other CAM systems a plus

• 5+ years of CNC machining and programming experience
• Proficient with Mastercam for multi-axis programming
• Experience leading small teams or mentoring other machinists
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed

• $30–$50/hr depending on experience
