BARTENDER - CLARKSVILLE
Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Bartender to support the F&B Supervisors and Beverage Manager in the successful operation of casino service bars at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino. The bartender will engage in the sale of and efficient production of quality alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, serving guests in a trained, responsible, and professional manner, while also performing additional duties as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Safe, efficient production of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages according to specified recipes and quality standards, including par levels, storage, rotation, station setup, ingredient preparation, and cleanup.
- Legal alcohol service: checking identification, measuring pours, and cutting off service of alcohol when necessary.
- Maintain sanitation, bar and personal hygiene, and cleanliness, as well as proper beverage service techniques and safety.
- Display knowledge of all emergency procedures.
- Communicate consistently with supervisors, keeping them abreast of department activities.
- Ensure bar and equipment are in good working order and the work area is clean and hazard‑free; notify supervisors immediately if not.
- Work effectively with co‑workers and management in a high‑volume, fast‑paced casino environment.
High School Diploma or GED required. One year of experience in the beverage service industry as a bartender or similar position preferred. Must possess salesmanship, fast‑paced service, and production skills; read, write, speak, and understand English; has basic math skills and beverage knowledge (fluid measurements, size, shape, color, glassware, garnish, brand recognition). Experience with money handling and digital touchscreen cashiering systems is preferred.
Must be at least 21 years old, certified in Serve Safe Alcohol Awareness, Indiana State approved Alcohol Training, hold an Indiana ATC (Alcohol & Tobacco Commission) License, and an IHRC (Indiana Horse Racing Commission) Occupational License. Scheduling flexibility required: weekends, holidays, overnight, and overtime may be needed.

Physical RequirementsMust lift up to 50 lbs, push or pull 150‑250 lbs on a pushcart, and tolerate temperatures from –10 to 140°F. Requires normal or corrected vision and ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for a full shift.
Work EnvironmentIndoor and outdoor work, with exposure to varying temperatures, sunlight, fluorescent lighting, wet surfaces, and noise. Frequent use of chemicals and close contact with guests is required. The environment may be hot, cold, noisy, and may contain smoking; standing is the primary posture (~95%).
