We are seeking friendly, organized, and outgoing Gift Shop Assistants to ensure a smooth shopping experience for our guests. The Gift Shop assistants play a key role in setting the tone for exceptional service, as they are often the first interaction our guests have with us. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and enjoy working as part of a team that serves large audiences during live performances.

At Derby Dinner Playhouse, you’ll be part of a creative, high-energy environment that combines great food with live entertainment. We value teamwork, pride in craftsmanship, and creating memorable experiences for our guests every night.

• Base pay range: $10.00/hr - $11.00/hr

• Greet & assist guests with purchases, product questions, and gift selection
• Operate the POS/register accurately and efficiently
• Restock merchandise and maintain clean, organized displays
• Assist with inventory management
• Provide friendly and patient customer service to all guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lobby and entrance areas
• Support the theatre's lobby operations as needed during show times and communicate issues in the lobby with the management team

• Prior experience in retail or customer service
• Must be available to work Saturdays from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to remain calm and organized during high-volume service periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Must be available for matinee and evening shifts throughout the week
• Able to lift 30 lb, stand for extended periods, walk, and bend
