Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

  • Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
  • Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
  • Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
  • Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services
Typical Day / Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
  • When guests need assistance, engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
  • Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience
  • Thank guests and show appreciation for their visit
  • Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
  • Scan and bag guest items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
  • Explain how to use Target App features (including Wallet) and assist with enrollment
  • Understand Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests to enroll, activate and use these features
  • Handle returns following store policies; collaborate with leaders as needed
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area; manage unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers
  • Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • Work safely; comply with safety policies and report hazards
  • Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up orders and returns while complying with relevant laws
  • All other duties based on business needs

  • Ability to operate technology devices and handheld scanners; comfortable using multiple devices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
