The starting pay for this position is $18-$20/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. The role of the Roadside Technician is to act as an emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets. When a customer has a tire-related failure, a Technician is dispatched to the customer’s location to repair or change the tire. Technicians are expected to be roadside when performing their duties. When there are no service calls, Technicians may help mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform other general duties as needed.

• Serve as an emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.
• Repair or change tires at customer locations.
• Be on call and roadside for active service calls; assist with mounting orders and shop maintenance when no calls are pending.

• Shift includes mandatory on-call rotation with after-hours service calls at a 95% acceptance rate, including weekends and nights.
• Time worked during after-hours calls is paid at double-time with a minimum of 2 hours per call.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience preferred.

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including proper PPE, tire cages, and other safety procedures.
