Retail

The Lead Technician/Mechanic position requires experience and technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction. Technicians enjoy a performance‑based compensation model with flat‑rate pay, rewarding expertise and dedication.

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continued paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.

• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational‑Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third‑party certificates/assessment.
• A.S.E. certification in at least 5 of the A1‑A8 levels (L1 can be one of the five) is required.
• Maintenance of required Federal, State, and Local certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical people.
