- Serve as liaison between the direct fulfillment program manager, demand planners and the DSV BTS fulfillment site.
- Ensure commitments from demand planning groups meet agreed product lead times.
- Resolve delays in material delivery within agreed timelines.
- Manage delivery order lead times and report issues.
- Expedite SAP delivery orders to the site with assistance from internal and external partners.
- Review build/ship plans to ensure commitments are met based on delivery dates.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead projects from proposal to completion.
- Manage dock operations, ensuring safety procedures, training documentation, and material disposition and tracking are current and accurate.
- Act as backup for the build supervisor, gaining understanding of all systems, spreadsheets, and processes to run the department when the supervisor is absent.
- Assist with the startup of new buildings, ensuring safety procedures are followed and temporary/permanent areas are set up for daily operations.
- Compile and present data for manager meetings, identifying improvement areas that can lead to financial and efficiency gains.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel in planning and prioritizing inbound and outbound material at the customer’s site.
- Manage work tickets for material movement to and from the site for re‑inventory.
- Assist onboarding of new material planners and improve training documentation to promote role success.
- Assist with payroll/HR issues and interview process when needed.
- Administer on‑the‑job training sessions and develop new training opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficiency with SAP and material planning processes.
