Thrive Early Learning Center LLC is a new program under the same ownership as The Red Barn Child Care Center & Preschool. We have an incredible core team of educators that we are adding to!

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic teaching assistant to join our team! You will be assisting the teacher with planning and implementing both whole‑classroom and small‑group instruction.

You are passionate about learning and love working with children. With strong creative and organizational skills, you are able to connect with individual students and develop strong relationships with our team to create an engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of daily activities and curriculum for children
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, rest time, outdoor activities, and routines.
  • Assist with meal times, rest times, diapering, and potty training
  • Support teachers and administration in maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Provide a positive and nurturing atmosphere for children
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is a plus but training is provided
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, educators, and administration
  • Possess a friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
  • Must pass background check, drug screening, physical and provide 3 professional references
  • Have CPR/first aid certification or be willing to obtain in first 90 days
