Registered Dental Assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties. The primary role is to assist the dentist in ensuring patient commitment to the best possible treatment with urgency while maintaining a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment.

• Assist the dentist with gaining patient commitment for optimal treatment.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience®, focusing on patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; prepare patients for treatment.
• At the dentist’s direction, complete x‑rays and intra‑oral photographs.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with ADA guidelines.
• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies).

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education; state‑mandated certifications/licenses/registrations required.
• Associate degree or one‑year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or preferred combination of education and experience.
• Specific state certifications such as coronal polish, radiograph exposure, ultrasonic scaling for orthodontic procedures, pit and fissure sealant application, etc.

Compensation: $20.00–$27.75 per hour.
