Hydraulic Modeling Engineer

OHM Advisors’ Environmental & Water Resource Group seeks a highly motivated Hydraulic Modeling Engineer with expertise in drinking water distribution systems to join our growing team. You will directly contribute to planning, design, and construction of water infrastructure projects at local, regional, and national levels.

• Develop and calibrate hydraulic models for water distribution systems and analyze results to develop recommendations for clients.
• Assist on master planning and design projects.
• Perform booster station analyses for water systems to assess capacity, reliability, and energy efficiency.
• Develop future water demand projections.
• Design and deliver digital tools and dashboards.
• Prepare clear, concise technical reports and presentations.
• Fieldwork and site visits from design through construction may be required.
• Analyze and process large amounts of complex data.

• 2-5 years of experience.
• Strong interest in hydraulic modeling and water industry.
• Knowledge of hydraulic principles and analyses, and experience with or desire to learn hydraulic modeling software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, or mechanical engineering from an ABET‑accredited U.S. program.
• EIT preferred.
• Experience with Info Water, Water
  
  GEMS, or EPANET preferred.
