Production Engineer

As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence through the implementation and maintenance of Integrated Work Systems. You will focus on continuous process improvements, equipment reliability strategies, and capital project execution to ensure process stability and repeatability.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IWS centerlines to ensure process stability and repeatability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead root cause analysis for performance gaps.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify and execute process improvement initiatives.
  • Support daily production activities by troubleshooting process issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Conduct reliability assessments and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Analyze equipment downtime data and lead initiatives to improve asset reliability.
  • Partner with maintenance and operations teams to develop and refine equipment care standards.
  • Lead or support capital projects from concept through commissioning, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
  • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and contractors to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters, centerlines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide training and coaching to operators and technicians on process standards and equipment operation.
  • Support the development and deployment of IWS tools and methodologies across the site.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of IWS or similar continuous improvement systems (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma).
  • Experience with reliability engineering tools (FMEA, RCA, CMMS).
  • Proven track record in managing capital projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and manufacturing software (e.g., Excel, Minitab, AutoCAD, SAP).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49.00 – $56.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
