EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School graduate or equivalent with minimum of three year's experience in loan administration/processing; preferably a two-year college degree with five year's loan administration/processing experience.

LANGUAGE / MATHMATICAL SKILLS This position requires great customer service with strong written and oral communication skills. Must possess a high level of attention to detail with strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills; quick learner with ability to multi-task and manage priorities and workflow within a constantly changing environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Works with loan officers to help ensure loan files meet regulatory compliance and collateral standards.
• Assembles and verifies accuracy and completeness of loan files ensuring proper signatures, dates and other relevant data.
• Prepares closing packages for consumer, commercial and real estate loans following bank policies and procedures.
• Enter loan information into computer database.
• Ability to book loans (consumer, commercial and real estate) onto computer system using loan software.
• Maintains new and paid residential loan files.
• Ensures all title issues are met and loan is properly recorded.
• Ensures loan file schedules and deadlines are met.
• Answers questions via telephone or in person on all types of loans and loan products.
• Perform a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures. Operates computer or office machines to compute payoffs, rebates, and adjustments.
• Performs necessary research for completion of projects.
• Maintains electronic and paper loan files and records.
• Ability to prepare loan reports as needed relating to duties or projects assigned.
• Corresponds with customers as needed.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to cross-sell other bank products.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises the duties of the mortgage lending staff.
