American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring prior travel experience and circulating skills on night shift.
Details- 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit caring for expecting patients
- Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
- No block scheduling offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
- Unit creates the schedule and weekend shifts are required
- Float requirement to Helping Hands pool covering NICU and Postpartum
- Uses Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems
- Surgical scrubs provided by the facility
- Active RN license (TN or compact) required
- Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must be able to circulate in L&D
- Current certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS
- Provide nursing care to expecting patients within a Labor & Delivery setting
- Orientation only available on specific start dates: 11/16, 11/30, or 12/14
- No time off approved between 9/19 and 10/17 due to an Epic Go-Live
- Accepts local candidates; a 75-mile radius applies for standard travel rate eligibility, with local candidates accepted at a lower rate
