American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring prior travel experience and the ability to circulate.
Details- Work in a 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit caring for expecting patients
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2
- 12-hour night shift, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
- Weekend shifts required
- No block schedules offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
- Unit creates the schedule
- Float to NICU and Post Partum (Helping Hands program)
- Uses Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems
- Surgical scrubs provided
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must be able to circulate
- Provide nursing care to expecting patients in a Labor & Delivery setting
- Orientation available only on 11/16, 11/30, or 12/14 with no other start dates offered
- No time off approved between 9/19 and 10/17 due to an Epic Go Live
- Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
- Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
