Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring prior travel experience and TN or compact RN license.

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• Med/Surg Float Pool within a hospital setting
• Floats across 5 Med/Surg units as needed, with additional floating to the ER
• Adult patient population (18+) with general medical-surgical needs
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
• No block schedule offered; must remain flexible to meet unit staffing needs
• Weekend shifts required
• Unit creates the schedule
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Scrub color required:
  Navy
• No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to Epic Go Live
• Orientation available only on specific dates: 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, or 11/16
• Local candidates accepted, with a 75-mile radius rule determining eligibility for the travel rate
