American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg float pool position requiring 2+ years of experience and prior travel assignment history.
Details- Med/Surg float pool position within a hospital setting
- Floats across 5 Med/Surg units as needed, with additional floating to the ER
- General Med/Surg patient population, ages 18 and up
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6
- 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
- Weekend work required
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Unit creates the schedule
- Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Navy scrubs required
- Expected to work 2 of 3 designated holidays
- Orientation available on select dates only, with no orientation the week of 11/23
- Local candidates accepted
- Candidates residing within 75 miles are considered local and subject to a lower rate
