American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring prior travel experience and intra-aortic balloon pump expertise.
Details- 21-bed CVICU unit with patient ratios of 1-2
- Patient population includes ARDS/Pneumonia, Withdrawal, and Cardiogenic Shock cases, ages 18+
- 12-hour night shift, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
- No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
- Weekend shifts required
- Float to Stepdown/ER as needed
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Unit manages the schedule
- Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump required
- Navy scrubs required
- Must work 2 of 3 holidays
- No time off approved from 9/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live
- Local candidates accepted at a lower rate within a 75-mile radius
