American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown RN for a 12-hour night shift position requiring prior travel experience and a TN or compact RN license.

• 21-bed Stepdown unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population 18+ with varied cardiac and respiratory conditions
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 7pm-7am, 36 hours per week
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Weekend shifts required
• Unit sets the schedule with no block scheduling offered; must be flexible to meet staffing needs
• Float to Med-Surg/ER as needed

• Active RN license (TN or compact) required on file at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Navy scrubs required

• Provide nursing care to cardiac and respiratory patients on a Stepdown unit
• Orientation dates limited to 12/7 and 12/14, with none the week of 12/21 or 12/26 due to the holidays
• No time off approved from 9/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live
• Required to work 2 of the 3 holidays, with all time off requests submitted upfront and not including more than one holiday
• Local candidates accepted
• Radius rule of 75 miles applies; candidates within this radius are eligible at a local rate
