Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and prior travel assignment experience, on a 12-hour evening schedule.

• Active TN or compact multistate RN license required on file at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum of 2 years of ED experience required
• Prior travel nursing assignment experience required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred

• Work in the Emergency Department of a 270-bed hospital with a 44-bed unit
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Treats patients of all ages, general population
• 12-hour evening shift, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
• Weekend and holiday shifts required
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 designated holidays
• No floating or charge responsibilities required
• Provide emergency department nursing care across a general adult and pediatric population
• Navy scrubs required
• Orientation available only on 11/9, 11/16, or 11/30 (no orientation week of 11/23)
• No time off approved from 9/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate within a 75-mile radius
