CVES in Clarksville, TN is looking to add a meticulous and experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to oversee all aspects of anesthetic and sedated procedures on our Surgery Team.

$2,500 sign-on Bonus for qualified technicians!

Compensation: $22-29/hr, based on experience and pending skills level assessment.

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, with participation in a rotating on-call schedule

Training: Completion of anesthesia training through CVES and passing of both written and practical exams will be required.

About you: You are an experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care. Requirements for the Role:

  • Minimum of 3 years working as a veterinary technician, preferably in Specialty, Emergency, or Critical Care medicine. LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT license required.
  • Have an in depth understanding of all basic veterinary knowledge, including triage, disease processes, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures, etc.
  • Advanced skill set includes experience monitoring anesthesia and managing patients for a variety of abdominal, thoracic, orthopedic, and minimally invasive procedures, surgical prepping and positioning, knowledge of common surgical instruments and their uses, and experience calculating and administering CRI medications appropriately.
  • Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members
  • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
