We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive growth within the sporting goods and defense industry. This position is focused on B2B sales in ATF-regulated markets, working directly with dealers, distributors, and commercial customers. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in territory sales, account management, and regulated product environments, with a proven ability to grow revenue while maintaining strict compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage outside B2B sales activities across an assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with FFL dealers, distributors, and wholesale accounts.
- Identify and close new business opportunities within sporting goods, firearms, ammunition, and defense channels.
- Conduct compliant product presentations and sales meetings.
- Maintain pipeline activity, forecasting, and reporting using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to support sales initiatives.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts within company and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends in regulated industries.
- Ensure compliance with ATF, federal, state, and local regulations at all times.
- 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience in sporting goods, firearms, ammunition, defense, or other ATF-regulated industries.
- Demonstrated success in territory management, account growth, and relationship-based sales.
- Strong understanding of regulated product sales environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with FFL dealers, distributors, or defense-related customers.
- Background in wholesale sales, manufacturer rep roles, or channel sales.
- Experience managing multi-state sales territories.
- Familiarity with compliance-driven sales processes.
