Job Title: Electrician’s Helper (Construction)

Position Summary

The Electrician’s Helper supports electricians on construction projects by performing basic tasks, preparing materials, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role is entry-level and provides hands-on experience in the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Carry materials, tools, and supplies to work areas.
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit as directed.
• Drill holes, pull wire, and perform other basic preparation tasks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe conditions.
• Follow all safety rules and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising electrician.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation required to get to jobsites
• Prior construction or trade experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Physically able to lift, carry, climb, and perform manual labor.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to learn.

Working Conditions

• Construction site environment, indoors and outdoors.
• May involve working at heights, in tight spaces, or in varying weather conditions.
• Full-time schedule; overtime may be required.
