Industrial Automation Maintenance Technician

As an Industrial Automation Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource responsible for the optimization, troubleshooting, and electromechanical support of complex manufacturing systems. You will drive equipment reliability by performing advanced diagnostics, leading machine modification projects, and ensuring all automated processes operate at peak efficiency.

• Execute complex electrical and mechanical repairs to minimize downtime and maximize production output.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems, including Allen Bradley Studio 5000, to enhance machine performance.
• Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis on critical equipment breakdowns to implement long-term corrective solutions.
• Manage the maintenance of VFDs, HMIs, servo drives, and automated guided vehicle systems.
• Update technical documentation and provide redline drawings to engineering teams for system improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold safety standards, 5S initiatives, and continuous improvement goals.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on motors, wiring systems, and HVAC components to ensure facility integrity.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Advanced proficiency in PLC ladder logic and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and navigate industrial environments.

• Experience with Fanuc or similar robotic control systems.
• Technical certification in industrial electronics or automation technology.
• Proven track record in project management for machine upgrades.
