JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse, shipping, logistics operations, ensuring safe and efficient receiving, storage, picking, and shipping activities. This position leads warehouse employees, coordinates daily workload, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures customer shipments are completed safely and on time.

The Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor will work closely with Warehouse Coordinators, Production, Supply Chain, Transportation, Customer Service, and external carriers to support overall warehouse performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Warehouse Operations:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, staging, loading, and shipping.
• Assign daily tasks and priorities to warehouse employees based on shipment schedules and operational needs.
• Monitor workflow and adjust manpower to meet daily shipment and receiving requirements.
• Ensure products are properly staged and loaded according to customer and transportation requirements.
• Monitor dock activities and coordinate truck arrivals, loading, and departures.
• Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout.
• Must be available to work assigned shifts, including weekends or overtime when required by business needs. Also must be available when either Day shift or Night shift is needed.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate inventory discrepancies. To be responsible for inventory accuracy on designated shift.
• Ensure proper scanning, labeling, location control, and material movement.
• Coordinate inventory transfers and rework activities as required.
• Work with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to resolve inventory and material availability issues.
• Supervise and support warehouse employees and provide daily direction.
• Monitor employee attendance, performance, and productivity.
• Provide training and coaching to warehouse employees.
• Support onboarding and training of new employees.
• Communicate operational expectations and safety requirements clearly to the team.

Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Ensure proper forklift and material-handling procedures are followed.
• Conduct regular safety checks and immediately address unsafe conditions or behaviors.
• Report accidents, injuries, equipment damage, and safety concerns according to company procedures.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is operated safely and maintained appropriately.

Transportation & Customer Support:

• Coordinate with carriers regarding pickup schedules, appointments, BOLs, and shipment requirements.
• Monitor daily shipment status and address delays or transportation issues.
• Support customer-specific requirements for customers such as Auto Zone, GM, Nissan, Truck Pro, and other accounts.
• Communicate shipment issues and recovery plans to management and relevant departments.

Systems & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate warehouse transactions in SAP or other ERP/WMS systems.
• Review shipment, receiving, inventory, and productivity reports (Daily).
• Provide daily operational updates and elevate significant issues to management.
• ADP Time Management
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and cost.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse warehouse team.
• Communication:
  Including active speaking/listening, reading/writing skills in accordance with standard business practices and decorum
