Mechanical Technician

Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Mechanical Technician 4 to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician 4, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting cross‑functional teams.

Job Title: Mechanical Technician 4

Location: Clawson, MI

Pay Range: $25-$30 per hour
Shift: M-F 6am-3pm with flexibility

• Review and prioritize virtual study procedures to optimize testing processes.
• Collaborate across teams to develop and refine virtual time study tools.
• Coordinate globally to share best practices and implement new learnings and tools.
• Build and analyze virtual studies using available data and tools, with potential for team growth.
• Compare virtual and physical time studies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• 3-5 years of automotive technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with AI is helpful.
• Need ASE Certification and prefer to have CAD experience
  . Do not want to see design experience if they do have technician experience.
• Highest education is only high school
  , but a 4-year degree is still referred and will help applicants over others.
