Pay Range: $40–45/hr

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an Accredited college
• 1+ year(s) of experience reviewing and analyzing blueprint designs, plans, calculations and maps for compliance with codes and regulations.
• Experience identifying discrepancies and provides technical assistant to arrive at acceptable design solutions.
• Experience reviewing architectural and structural plans for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
• Communicate plan deficiencies and required corrections to architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Collaborate with permitting staff to ensure timely processing of applications.

A state and local client of Insight Global is looking to add a Plan Review Engineer that will assist in evaluating construction plans, specifications, and structural calculations submitted for building permits. This role ensures compliance with applicable building codes, local ordinances, and safety standards. The position provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain experience in regulatory compliance and construction engineering.
