Investment Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join the Finerty Team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in finance or economics and a desire to grow within a dynamic investment environment.

• Conduct investment research and analysis to support client portfolio decisions.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and performance summaries using Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, and Excel.
• Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate investment opportunities and monitor market trends.
• Maintain and update financial models, tracking systems, and investment documentation.
• Assist with client portfolio reviews and proposals.
• Perform due diligence on investment products and third‑party managers.
• Monitor macroeconomic indicators and assess their impact on investment strategy.
• Draft internal memos and summaries for investment committee discussions.
• Coordinate with compliance and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity.
• Draft and execute trades and banking transactions

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in investment analysis or financial services.
• The FINRA Series 65 license will be required.
• A CFA designation or active progress towards achieving the CFA designation is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power
  
  BI. Familiarity with Morningstar Direct and Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
